Nationwide Conference National club Grays Athletic have announced the signing of striker Danny Kedwell from Nationwide South side Welling United.

Kedwell joins the Essex outfit a two-year deal having finished as the Wings` leading marksman with twenty-three goals, winning the league`s player of the month award no less than three times in the process.

Kedwell previously turned out for Lordswood, Fisher Athletic, Tonbridge Angels, Chatham Town, Maidstone United and Herne Bay.

Kedwell (pictured) led the Kent League scoring charts in 2004/05 with twenty-eight league and cup goals for Herne Bay and was being courted by at least ten other clubs, but he turned them down to work with Adrian Pennock at Welling in May 2005.
