If the big clubs dont want replays then im certian the FA will cave in as they need the big clubs to field strong(ish) teams otherwise the sponsorship money would drop. I suspect the big clubs to revert to fielding weakened sides next year if they dont get their way thus the cp is devalued (again)

Unless the FA decide to award a CL spot to the winners of the competition the FA Cup will never be the same again, unfortunately the lure of the UEFA shilling is too much!! This of course will never happen because the real power brokers of football are the Premier League chairmen who all think now that they can sneak fourth spot, thus ensuring CL football and muchos cash!!
Football is more of a business now than anything and I know that's a cliche but its true.

yes its true, fact is: i rather watch a FA Cup match than a champions league match, more goals, more atmosphere, more comebacks, more to see. I think the FA Cup lives amongst players, if you see Gerrards comments about it...
