My 2 sons have 2 Christmas dinners. This year they'll stay with me on Christmas Eve, open their presents on Christmas morning before going to their mums and opening presents there. Then it's back to mine for Christmas dinner at about 1pm, the afternoon with me, then back to their mums for another dinner around 5pm. I don't know how they do it, but they think it's great

Very similar arrangements for my kids. They love it because they get double the normal (non separated family) amount of presents!

Birthdays they get 2 partys and double presents!

They don't know they are born!

Cant beat the xmas dinner, its something i look forward to each year. Its not just the dinner, its having all the family (10 of us) all back in one house, you know what its like having family all over the country The xmas dinner is a where we learn about what others have been doing all year. We call it the gossip table.
