Police

Merseyside Police will not be taking any action against Joey Barton.Do you think it is right that the police should get involved in incidents that happen on the football field or should it be left to the football authorities to sort it out ?

I think FA will take action and rozzas should stick to riding their pit pony horses around outside grounds. Police officers at grounds are like ref's they think they are more important than the players and the game.

He only mooned, i'd like to know what kind of person reported him in the first place. If we were all offended by what we saw on the pitch Luke Chadwick would be doing a 10 year stretch in Armley jail.

I agree. He has a bit of CHEEKY banter with opposing fans and gets reported to the old bill.I think it shows how football supporters have changed. Its not a working mans sport anymore, its being taken over by the prawn sandwich brigade
