I missed around 10 matches in 10 years following Leeds home and away in the 80's, and at that time we had probably the worst reputation in football. Fighting took place on the terracing, outside the ground, on the London Underground, and even in towns we stopped at on our way home. Like Jack says once you settle down and have kids your whole world changes, and you calm down into a family lifestyle. The lads who i used to go to games with, who aren't married with kids, still go for a ruck but not around the grounds no more. They tend to go into the Pubs in the towns. This doesn't get viewed as football hooligans, because there's only about 10 of them, not like the old days when firms of 100+ were common. I think these days you can go and walk around most grounds without any trouble, but if you go looking for trouble you'll certainly find it.

I think it'll kick-off over there Junkie, the Turks get away with murder. If it happened in England UEFA would throw the book at English football

Here in Belgium, it's just the same: If you say a Turk is a bastid, you're a racist, if you say that Jezus was a bastid, you're right.
When there is trouble at a ground here, it's always with the turks. Some people really hate them, and i can understand why.
