Who's your clubs best signing ever
One of Leeds best ever signings, though not the best player we've had was Vinnie Jones. Leeds were stagnating in the old 1st division when Howard Wilkinson signed Jones from Wimbledon. He set the city alight, everone seemed to have the Vinnie haircut, shaved on No1 apart from the top of the head. The crowds came back because things were happening with the club, great times

I have had a think
Steve Fletcher is the best signing in the time that i have been watching Boscombe. signed from Hartlepool and has played over 500 times. The best loan signing is Jamaine Defoe, scoring 18 goals in about 5 mins 10 goals in 10 games

 Billy Meredith in yhe early part of the last century, Totally inspired Man Utd (robbed him from the Blue half as well ), Duncan Edwards, in Sir Bobby Charltons words, Quite simply the best player he ever saw, George Best....The Best EVER. But I think the single, most inspirational signing in the clubs history has to be one Eric Cantona. Nuff said

we have made a few decent signings.
Alan Lee -he was class for us. we got him for 150k and he took us up to the championship and kept us there for 3 years,then he went and we went down. Ronnie Moore - well, were do i start. helped us gain promotion to division 2(thats champ now) and was a great player. Also as a manager he took us up 2 times and kept us in the champ for 4 years before being sacked(which he shouldnt have been). Dave Watson - the england captin was great for us. a soild defender which he was class.

Paul Merson was our best signing for influence...wothout him we would still be in the 2nd tier....he was immense in our Championship season.
Although early days, I would have to say our recent purcahse of Sol Campbell will turn out to be our greatest ever signing. Portsmouth are on their way up....no doubt hmmmm both ex gooners dont you know
