Have you seen the 'challenge' that Rooney has been banned for 3 games for?
He went for a header, got it, and on the way down brushed his arm against the head of an opponent who hadnt jumped and was just standing there.
There was minimal contact, the guy goes down like hes been hit by a bus, and some publicity seeking ref sends Rooney off and reports it to the Dutch FA, who then have to pass it on to our FA.
Our FA review the footage and should in all honesty have a good laugh at the silly referee.
But what do they do?
They ban Rooney for 3 games!

This is a joke really, the dutch FA didnt want to do anything about this, and passed it off to the English, who made a shocking decison to ban the both of them, Rooney and Scholes.

Referees need to show a common sense approach rather than being like robots that Fifa want them to be. The decision was awful but ref following orders from numbnut fifa.

Make it 2 idiots cos i´m sick to death of Rooney. His temprament is his weakest point, players are gonna play on it and if he can´t cope then thats his problem. In football if you get sent off, you get suspended. It´s been like that for years. Rooney´s sending off cost us in Germany, and he got off lightly with the fans. Get on with it and stop whining
