Save the Earth concert

I don't know if anyone watched it but i listened to a radio programme last night and it brought a lot of things to light. It stinks of hypocracy when musicians who fly all over the world are telling us not to drive our cars. To cut down on the fuel we use, they decide to hold a concert where the electricity used would power a town for a year. Half way through the concert they turned all the lights off as a gesture, the bbc had an helicopter in the sky to show us what it looked like. The world is changing, just like it has done for millions of years, can we change it, i doubt it

Its all feed the world, save the world, ban the bomb. God why cant people just live their lives without jumping on the bandwagon. Yes they are all serious points but i agree with beefy and doubt that the sanctimonious concert at the weekend will do anything.

If these loons think they can change the climate by using a few thousand low-energy light bulbs, they are mistaken!

There was a huge traffic jam before and after this event - why did they not walk or go on the bus, like they tell us we have to? Shocking hypocrisy, the world's gone mad
