Any ideas on wedding speeches for Grooms?

Only got just over 2 weeks before fly off to get married and still no speech!! Gaffer my best man has done his (which will be very kind and not at all drop me in any doo doo ) but groom speeches on net looked at very dull and boring and seem to quote song lyrics. Any advice pleeeeease

I have one good plus point in my favour as brides father not doing a speech as he says he is not good at them so he is going to sing a song!!?!? he may get away with it in Dom Rep but at night do back home in front of 100+ guests he will get lynched!! - Gota do better than him!!

Generally these speeches it does it the godfather or the godparents, I can say that a suitable poetry is usually the habitual thing.
Only it is my opinion, the problem is if nobody wants to go out to say it.

You have hit jackpot with the poetry Mabudi!! Amongst a lot of inappropriate poems there are some very good ones Will have a go myself at a poem but not much rhymes with Bradford
