Jari joins Fulham

Fulham have secured the services of Finnish legend Jari Litmanen for the remainder of the season.

Litmanen had been training with The Cottagers in a bid to win a deal and clearly did enough for manager Roy Hodgson.

The 36-year-old brings a wealth of experience to Craven Cottage having played for Ajax, Barcelona and Liverpool during his lengthy career.

Is he really 36? I thought he was much older myself. It seems a strange signing to me, after all he wasn't all that great when he played for Liverpool was he? I suppose Roy Hodgson knows what he's doing.
