Should Ronnie Biggs be released ?

Should Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs be released from prison to see out his last days ? Home Secretary Jack Straw announced that Biggs would probably die in prison after denying parole again.

mmmm..not sure on this one. People who are drunk at the wheel of their car nowadays who run over and kill people get a lesser sentence....however, he did evade capture for many years. What I dont agree with is the taxpayers paying out all that money on security for the man when he can't even bloody walk!

Why should Biggs be released just because he's old and frail. des that mean that Ian Brady should be free too. Biggs chose to do the crime, then he escaped from jail and took the piss out of the country by partying in Brazil. It was only when he became poorly that he decided to return to England so he could have free health care, again using the tax payer to fund it. Biggs life has been all take against this country, let him rot until his last breath.

No he should not be released, all the other Train Robbers have done their 30 year terms and are now free, he spent those thirty years in Brazil, so now he has do his time for his part in the robbery and the murder of the Train Guard.

The thing between Biggs & Brady, Brady is a f**king dirty b***ard and should rot in hell for what he has done. If they let Biggs out fair play it dosen't really bother me about him after all it was only a train robbery.
