Both parties would be better staying away from each other at this present time. Keane needs a small club where he can learn his trade. Sunderland need an experinced manager, as the Chairman is new to the job. If they do get Keane, Sunderland will have a manager and a Chairman who haven't won a game between them whilst they've held their respective positions

They were bottom of the table when he took over, so they've got to improve. I know who i'd rather have managing my club, McCarthy on £250,000 a year or Keane on £2 million.
