Ref, what you seem to have forgotten is one English team got bought out by a billionaire, who
can buy any player he wants, and another was bought out by a billionaire who
does buy any player he wants. The first billionaire is in charge of Man Utd, the second Chelsea.
Chelsea sold the club the right way,to a man who goes to all the games and at the minute is in love with football, and the fans are all happy. Man Utd being on the stock exchange at the time had no control over who eventually gained control of the club, hence they end up with a Yank who's never been to Old Trafford. The Shareholders were the ones who were happy at Glaziers buy out not the fans
