Should teams that fold be allowed to be "Re-Franchised" a la MK "Plastic" Dons

With Bournemouth looking like the latest club to face extinction, is it right that some upstart team with no history, tradition or proper fanbase be allowed to take their place just because the area where the team would move to has a bigger catchment area ?

I hope to god that Bournemouth don't go under because we are setting a very dangerous prescedent by allowing more MK Dons style so called re-franchises....

It also isn't fair on the teams that are already based in the area a club relocates to, Milton Keynes already had a team who ply their trade in non league football, cant even imagine what they made of it all. Can never, ever be allowed to happen again

Im going to buck the trend here and I agree with the idea. I think that there should be a maximum 25 mile zone though.

The minute you allow that the floodgates will open. Not a good move. I'm glad the loophole is now closed. If you look at how many clubs have teetered on the brink and who are still struggling it's a frightening thought ...
