By moving the club maybe saved though. Times change and you either get with tghe programme or you go under. Least a franchise could save clubs.

I'm still not convinced that "Franchises" are the answer. It will be interesting to see where the £200 million for Grass Roots football is actually spent. This affects me because I am on the committee of my son's team so hopefully we'll see a little bit...

I believe that more should be done to help struggling teams.

It should also be noted that had Wimbledon borough council been more co-operative then "Plastic" Dons wouldn't even be here. Wimbledon needed a bigger stadium, the planning permission for which wasn't granted.
