British Home Internationals

With all the home nations failing to qualify for next years European Championships, there's a big call for for the return of the Home Championships. What do you think?

I'm all for it....even more so when my country hasn't qualified for anything.
I also think that if any of the countries actually qualify for a comp that they can also 'opt out' of that particular year....bring it on. The one thing I wouldn't like if they bring it back is that it wouldn't end up like 'B' sides 'cos all the best players are sunning it up somewhere, that would defeat the object and devalue it. If they play it in the month after the normal season ends, theres plenty of time to holiday before the new season training kicks in.

I dont think STAR(?) players can refuse it. They would not have balls to do that.

I say no and for one very good reason - Croud Control. I think it would be inviting trouble quite honestly as I don't see a very welcoming atmosphere for England (If they were to take part) from any of the other 4 Nations and Vice Versa were they to come to Wembley. And the last thing we need right now is more bad headlines for croud problems ...

I'm not at all bothered, I mean what is the point, the England players will be there in body only, no passion, no will and no fight.....i think the other nations will benefit from the chance to build the national sides. The English players wouldn't even get out of bed for it.

Why not use it as a qualifier competition? That way it'd never become a 'B' team event.....
