Thumbs up Vote of Censoring to Juan Laporta

Hello to all.

Today I have received via email the of the vote of censoring against Juan Laporta.
(06-07-08) ...

No confidence vote on July 6 in Camp Nou.

FC Barcelona have announced that the referendum o the vote of no confidence will take place on Sunday, July 6 at Camp Nou.

The club's vice-president, Alfons Godall, accompanied by Ferran Soriano, told a press conference of all the agreements that had been reached in a board meeting that took place on Tuesday.

Godall explained that the main theme was that of the vote of no confidence. "The board of directors values the process, and how it has gone, positively," he said. "It is an important act that we want to develop according to the guidelines and that at the end will have reinforced the democratic institution that is in place."

Voting hours

On July 6, ballot boxes will be open from 9am until 9pm when fans can go along and vote. There will be a 12-hour window because the board decided that was the what would be required for the process to be carried out as effectively as possible.

On the table

Inside Camp Nou, there will be 120 tables distributed with names in alphabetical order. The tables will be situated in the north goal stand, the south goal stand and in the lateral. Each table will be presided over be delegates, with the director of each one being an employee of the club.

Different venue

Unlike previous voting days that were carried out in the Miniestadi, this time socis will go to Camp Nou itself and Godall explained the reason for the switch. "We are planning different leisure activities that will take place on the pitch and in the stands," he said. The museum will also be open on the day.

With the activities, the club intends to "attract the most voters possible", Godall added. "We want organisation, participation and democracy at the club."

Adding to the voting theme, Godall stated that data processing centre will be next to the boxes n the lateral and that press room in the Camp Nou will be used for the media. As for parking, all club members can leave their cars in the forecourt at the club or in the university grounds like on matchdays.

Operating costs

Finally, the vote of no confidence referendum will require 700 people to work that day and Godall estimates that the whole event will cost around €500,000.
More info Mediapro pre-season deal agreed Alfons Godall has stated that FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with Mediapro about the television rights of the first team's friendly games in pre-season, as well as the Gamper Trophy match and the Champions League qualifiers.

Mediapro will now have the rights to the two games in Scotland, against Hibernian and Dundee United, the game against Fiorentina and the two matches in the United States.

Kind Regards
