Lionel Messi: Rijkaard's Special One
Hi all.
Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard made it abundantly clear what he thinks of attempts to compare Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero. Much has been said about the match-up between the two Argentine sensations ahead of the clash between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou. The two players themselves have praised each other, Aguero expressing a desire to play with Messi, and the later suggesting that the former was capable of "anything." However, Frank Rijkaard could not have been clearer on what his take is: Aguero a great player in a good moment, Messi a special player. "Messi cannot be compared with anybody," he said. "He is a specific kind of and a special player." "Aguero is a great player in very good form at the moment. However, I do not believe they can be compared. "When I speak of Messi, I can speak only of Messi, who is in a league of his own at the moment." Messi has scored eight goals in the last five games for Barcelona, and played a part in setting up four more. Kind Regards
