For Sheff Utd Yes!! - Liverpool fancied Jagielka about 3 seasons ago but realised he was a sandwich short of a picknic so left well alone. £4m is far too much to pay for him.

think you've got that wrong mate, the scousers wanted tonge, not jags. dont think 4 mill is enough for jags, the guy is brilliant, and if he signs for a big club, will soon make it into england squad

Liverpool did want tonge but they were also after jags whilst houllier was in charge, glad he didn't get either!

well it cant have been big, because we only heard about tonge. as for your glad you never got either, agree about tonge, but jags would have been an england regular by now, if he had signed for a big club

How come no big club spotted Cahill (£1m), Arteta (£2m), Pienaar (£2m), Lescott (£3m)

Thats because they arn't in the public eye and other teams prefer to spend big on overhyped players instead of take the risk that Moyes does.

Now surley your not saying those players i named arn't cracking players because no other team wanted them?
