Bilic agrees new deal
Slaven Bilic has agreed a new two-year deal with Croatia to rule out a possible move to Manchester City.
The former West Ham and Everton defender had been linked with a move to Eastlands amid speculation Sven-Goran Eriksson will leave in the summer.
Bilic's current contract was due to end next August, but Croatia have moved to tie him down to a new improved deal after he guided the national side to Euro 2008 at England's expense.
The new deal will take Bilic through to the 2010 World Cup and is a major boost ahead of this summer's tournament in Austria and Switzerland.
