George For Scotland Job
The Scottish FA has reached agreement with Southampton over compensation for George Burley, who they want to install as the new Scotland manager.
Negotiations will continue with the 51-year-old's agent to thrash out personal terms. On Tuesday, the SFA board ratified the move for the former Ipswich, Derby and Hearts boss. Burley was on a four-man shortlist alongside Mark McGhee, Graeme Souness and Tommy Burns.
