Of course not don't be silly mate. In my opinion Liverpool have done what they have done DESPITE Rafa Benitez and not BECAUSE of him. You might think I am crazy, but I don't actually rate him very highly. That's always been my opinion, and it still is. Will you win the Premiership under him mate, yes or no?

I doubt Rafa will be given the time to win the league. Despite all the right noises coming from Hicks & Gillett they seem to me to have a secret agenda when it comes to the manager of Liverpool.

I think it the classic case of business people getting involved in football matters, they don't understand passion

Serious question Beefy...Would you call Bates a true football fan? Even when at Chelsea his mind seemed to be always on creating ventures like the Chelsea village.

Now he's taken over at Leeds I struggle to understand why, or what his association with Leeds is. Also his continuing fight with the Fa Football league for me isn't really about the 15 points reduction rather than "i'll show them I'm the wrong person to be messing with" attitude.

Anyway, that's my view, but, hey , who am I ??????

On the question of Bates being a football fan, yes i think he is. I don't think he's the same kind of fan as you and me but to be involved in the game as long as he has he must be. The difference with Bates is his loyalty has changed between Chelsea and Leeds, something that i could never do. This brings the saying "Don't mix business with pleasure" into play, i think Leeds is a business venture for him, and one that's been very profitable. Regarding the 15 points, i think that Leeds were very hard done by, a feeling that all Leeds fans have. It's been the nations favourite past time laughing at the demise of our club over recent years, but give the club the due in that they've fought back. Personnally i just wish everyone would forget about the deduction and get on with the season, it can only have a negative effect on the team performance. Remember it's Ken Bates who's on a crusade against the FA and 15 points, not the fans or the players
