Is Owen Talking Crap
Michael Owen has said that none of the Croatia players would make it into the England side. Is he talking crap?

It amazes me how thick players can be. Slaven Bilic needs only to show Owens comments to his squad when they face England in the World Cup qualifiers. This should give them the motivation to go and beat us again.
As for Owen, he should realise that a players quality doesn't go on how big his wage packet is. If our players played with half the pride the Croatian players played with we might still be looking forward to Euro 2008. Our players look world beaters when you look at the transfer fees they've cost, but on the pitch they can't do the business. The more shit i hear like what Owen has said, the more i'm glad we haven't qualified.

If Owen could stand up long enough without getting injured I'd be impressed, lets be honest Croatia played England for a bunch of suckers...I'm sure McClaren would have swapped them all last Wednesday for sure...
England players are now believing the hype that says they're world class this can only mean more embarrassing nights to come...

I am from croatia and i dont think that Owen is talking crap!! i believe that he is right and when u have your ideal squad then non of our players have a place in your team!! maybe our goalkeeper Pletikosa, because your goalkeepers r not so good!! but as you all said, not the individual is winnig, the team is!!! and in this aspect croatia was clearly the better team!!! i am very glad that all of you look at things in such an objective way
