Well I don't think I've ever seen such a bad performance as that from an England side in a good while. The game was there for us in the 2nd half but we threw it away. Whoever takes over now will need to steady the ship and get us playing as a unit again.

Who ever takes over needs to look in the lower leagues for players who want to play for England and not over paid Prima Donna's

Agreed. I think the selection process for Senior Players will need a serious overhaul now for sure. Interesting watching the Press Conference at Soho Square on Sky Sports News that the FA are going to take a "Route & Branch" look at the whole England Senior Team Set Up. One wonders whether the FA itself also needs a good shake up ...

I agree with the point at looking at the FA itself as we never get to know how much they actually interfere with the running of the England setup, if they paid me 2 million i would also keep my mouth shut.

If FA shakes up it still will not change the squad on the pitch. National team can not manage like a club. You can not get any player you like. Therefore whatever happens at the top, it will not effect (I hope I spelt it correct) how the players play and the how the coach manages team. Their(FAs) duty is just to choose right manager.

But ask any England fan what their biggest moan is and they'll say that we don't ever seem to find the right man. The buck surely must stop with the FA because they appoint the manager. This is something that needs to be addressed and quickly IMHO.

The FA seem to do nothing when the whole Country sees that the Manager (McClarren) was struggling in the position last year! It was time to change then, if they had we may have been in a different position today.

And you could argue for keeping Ericsson a bit longer really. Maybe not into Euro 2008 but at least to get us qualified. We'll never know now ...
