McLaren isnt getting a fair try. He has to pull straight what Eriksson has done and you lot expect a masterclass performance. Give him his time. If you can build something with no money at boro, you can build something with england's best too.

Beckham used to motivate and bond the team , obvious taht Maclaren does not want him around...all a bit old school tie with Maclaren and Ferguson if you ask my humble opinion

Let the man be judged on if he succeeds on getting us qualified. The England job is untenable. It must be the worst job in football - What were the alternatives to Macclaren?!!? O Neil!?!? He is realy doin well at Villa isnt he!?!? (not) No manager would be good enough for the English public and press and until we start realising that our players are over paid tarts and it is them who influence results not the manager we will always be a mediocre team.

dont think we can take that chance!! im always for giving somebody a chance, but thi guy is inept!! we had the best right winger in the country, lennon(imho), playing on the left wing against israel, and with 10 minutes left, they take him off and bring on a natural left footer!! whats that all about???
