All the top 4 clubs have a non-English manager so none of them are going to do anything to help England are they? You can certainly rule out Sir Alex Ferguson helping England more than most, he's Scottish after all.

what has england done for them?
Rafa's damn right he instructs his players to fake injuries (Gerrard although didnt). There's absolutely no point in getting them injured in a mid-november friendly.

That's a disgarace if it's true. They should be proud to play for England no matter when and where it is.

It's the club over country row all over again. Some of the current England players will have to watch their step because Capello will only want 100 % commitment, Not feined injuries.

Isn't it strange how generally it's the players from 3 clubs in particular who always back out. Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool think of themselves bigger than the game, to them the Champions League now shows their players to the world, they don't need friendly internationals no more. People can say what they like about David Beckham but he was always committed to Englands cause, whaatever and whereever it was they played

We already lost Torres for six weeks after a stupid international friendly. Playing them friendlies now in November is asking for it, players are absolutely not interested in getting injured for no apparent reason.
