The Togo international sustained an ankle injury in last Saturday's 2-1 loss at Stoke City following a challenge from Ryan Shawcross.

Adebayor, who has nine goals to his name this season, is now set to miss a number of key clashes in November, including the weekend fixture versus Manchester United.

Wenger said on the club's official website: "Adebayor will be three weeks.

"(Theo) Walcott could be days or weeks. It is the shoulder he had the surgery on. We don't know about (William) Gallas yet but (Bacary) Sagna will be back in the squad."

The French coach recently accused Stoke of deliberately fouling his players at the Britannia Staium but the newly-promoted Potters have strongly denied the allegations.
