he doesnt deserve ANY credit steve? If you're against him, you're against him, but even the biggest rival recognizes rafa's talent. You're just ignorant or just plain stupid. I hope the first, i fear tho' you're the latter. Give him Chelsea and he'll reign Europe for 25 years.

What credit can you give to a man that makes a once feared team throughout Europe a laughing stock

If you can see where Benitez deserves credit for that then you seriously need to take off those rose tinted glasses of yours

Rafa does deserve some credit, we're only half way through the season and who knows where Liverpool will finish. They finished 2nd last season, and ok they're out of the cups but only the Champions League really mattered to them. Steve is just showing a bias towards his hate of Benitez, he'll say black is white forever and a day

So they should resign from the league and pull out of the FA and Carling Cups next year. There are plenty of other teams who are longing to get a chance to win something and to whom it would "really matter". Better yet, Liverpool could lead a move to share their revenues with the other teams whose players and fans make up the contests that Liverpool takes part in without it really mattering to them and without whom there would be nothing to watch.

Resign from the league I don't know why you think they should do that, another member with anti Liverpool views.
Liverpool Football Club have the right to play which ever players they like in the cup competitions, just like every other club. They also have the right to have a priority list of competitions just like every other club. No one slags teams off for playing weakened sides in the JPT do they

Second was a failure to Liverpool not so long ago ...They SHOULD be challenging for the title EVERY season not 1 in every 10
