Voronin out on loan

Hertha Berlin have signed Liverpool forward Andriy Voronin on a one-year loan deal.

The Ukraine international joined the Reds on a free transfer from Bayer Leverkusen a year ago but has failed to win a regular place in the first team.

I never thought Voronin was Premiership class never mind good enough to play for Liverpool. Benitez must be top of the pile for buying dud players, it'd be interesting to see how many of his buys have become hits against how many have flopped.
