Liverpool: Phillip Deggen

Liverpool are on the verge of a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund right back Phillip Deggen. The Swiss international right back is out of contract in the summer and Benitez has swooped early to capture his man.

You would think that these players would want to play a for a club that wins things like Manchester United wouldn't you?

Just like Michael Owen, he went away to win things but ended up with the shiote in black and white. I hope for his career he leaves soon.

You don't spell it like that mate. This isn't about Micheal Owen it's about Liverpool and this seasons failure. I hope Rafa keeps doing such a magnificent job.

Me too, i love it when we're in the Eupean cup, we've beaten arsenal and Inter Milan. And with a little bit more class from Riise, we would've been in another (!) final. That's good, end off.

For the league, we've had a very bad spell. I know we wont challenge next season until we get that somewhat sorted.

If your really think this is bad, take a look at your own manager. And have a go at him.

You've certainly had a bad spell in the league and it's lasted 19 years now hasn't it? A lot of teams can concentrate on just one trophy and do well in it like Liverpool do.

What good is the top 4 though? What trophy do you get for finishing in the top 4?
