Peter Crouch is a very under rated player in my opinion, but if Liverpool are wanting to push forward and challenge for the Premiership i think they're going to need another world class striker to partner Torres. I don't think Crouch is anywhere near world class, but he gives you an option from the bench, if you need to change the game after 60 minutes or so. I think Liverpool should sell Kuyt, and get a big name replacement.

Rafael Benitez remains confident that Peter Crouch will sign a new contract at Liverpool.

The England striker has been offered a new long-term deal at Anfield, but the player has revealed his reservations about whether he has a future at the club.

Crouch has started less than 10 league games this season and is becoming increasingly frustrated at being an almost ever-present on the bench.

The giant forward is worried that his international chances are being hampered, but Benitez wants him to stay and is confident he will sign his new deal.

Should Peter Crouch move away from Anfield and go play regular football, or should he stay on the bench and save his energy for Abbey Clancy

What would you do, which ever option you take you'll still get £60,000 a year

Send a message via MSN to lfc junkie

i'd keep him and play him against arsenal. He's quite a handful for defenders.

But he isnt that prolific as torres...

Get Rid

Answer to that question is easy really...Time to let him go as Rafa has no interest in him really and in todays climate we should get at least £10 million for him which could be used to good effect bringing in a younger player in the mould of torres....saying that though if he waits i reckon that rafa wont be here next season anyhow and the next LFC manager might prefare him so only time will tell......my opinion is he should scarper..........
