ofcourse we cant compete
we cant afford hargreaves, anderson and nani unlike man utd we cant afford essien carvalho and terry benitez is doing the best he can but there are too many so-so players (kuyt or pennant). and with the yanks undermining rafa's authority the situation becomes even worse. But things are beginning to go the right way, and i think everybody agrees that liverpool is the only english club that doesnt disappoint in europe. |

It matters not how much money you spend on players. You still have to have a good Manager to get the best out of them. This season it will be Wenger or Ferguson who gets the best from the players at their disposal in the remaining games.

I've still got a sneaky feeling that Chelsea will pip both of them. Wenger must be worried after seeing saturdays draw with Birmingham, mentally Gallas wants locking up. Fergie has lost the plot, all he seems to be doing is playing his silly mind games, that worked on Keegan 10 years ago but he's dealing with a different class of manager with Wenger.
