Countdown to Rafa leaving begins...

According to BBC news, the two yanks have sorted out a refinancing package. So it looks like they're hanging around.

West Ham 1 Liverpool 0 a penalty in the last minute from Mark Noble. They have now slipped to 7th, and are a massive 17 points behind the Premier League leaders Manchester United. So it's going to be 19 years since they won the title now then. OH DEAR.

It is blatantly obvious to everyone it seems (Except Benitez) that unless you keep a settled squad then you won't get anywhere. He keeps shuffling the pack and that I believe that this is the root cause of Liverpool's problems currently. You should only make changes to a team if it's absolutely necessary ie injuries, suspensions. Not just for the sake of it ...

Exactly. Still I hope he keeps rotating the squad. If he does it will be another 10 years before they win the league again, if not longer.

I hope Liverpool fans watched last nights Sunderland match to get an idea of how we play, yes you can roll out the "league doesn't lie etc" but i think your in for a little wake up call on Saturday.
(and before the rant and general toy throwing we have the best home record in the Premiership, check the facts if you don't believe me).
Never a better time to get our first away win of the season.

but Wenger also rotates the squad, and you can all see that he is doing fine
but he has the much better players, so for him its less of a problem
Liverpool will be lucky if they manage to ge a Champions-league place

Yes Arsene Wenger does do that. The difference is that he actually knows what he's doing. As you said he does have much better players. It looks as if Liverpool will be scraping around trying to get into the Champions League, they might just about manage it.

Which proves my point really then. Benitez must try and stick with his best players as often as possible and only rotate when absolutely necessary. If he persists with the current policy then it'll be the same old same old ...
