It will be a long time before that happens, and it will never happen for Liverpool in the Premiership while Rafa Benitez is the manager.

I said the Premiership/Premier League. When was the last time you won that?

Darren, if you cant strengthen your opinion with valid arguments, then i'm afraid your opinion is worthless. If he wins the CL, FA and League cup every five years, it'll be fine by me.

if things dont settle very soon liverpool might face a leeds scenario. Hicks and gillet loan is from a gigantic proportion. Liverpool loses 30 million on interest alone a month. Think that's the same proportion of the glazer-takeover, but still...

I know IF he wins the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup every 5 years you will be fine with that. The fact that you will NEVER win the league with Rafa Benitez as manager is my prediction, and you haven't denied it. You won't win the other trophies every 5 years either is my other prediction, but let's see what happens.

2* the champions league final in three years. I wouldnt be too sure about your last statement there darren.

he's a brilliant tactician, he's proved that, ideal for cups. Great cup team, but we need classy, pacy wingers with passion: babel and Anderson, given time, will become stars.
I think rafa is too unpersonal with his players, too professional. Wenger, Fergie and Maureen all had a bond with his players, but not rafa benitez. Thats why the team plays like they dont care against teams like reading or blackburn. Still, i dont see who can replace him, who is better?????

and we've lost the title there.

All this brilliant tactican, ideal for cups and great cup team is all well and good, but anyone can win cups mate. You did brilliantly to win the CL final against AC Milan after a great run to the final, but that final was a total one off that will never happen again. If you played another 100 games from 3-0 down at half time you wouldn't win many, it was a freak game. Anyway all this is going away from my main point. You will NEVER win the Premier League with Rafa Benitez as manager, however long he stays at the club. I will be proved right just wait and see.

anyone can win cups. Open your eyes son. Fergie has been trying to win that for 25 years now and he only got there once. Wenger? same story, Mourinho has lost twice in a two-legged match against rafa with a superiour team. we Knocked out Barcelona, knocked out Juventus, knocked out everybody and everything. Lucky? no! Fcukking special.
And that trhee nil down, yea we got lucky, but you happen to forget that we didnt get a valid penalty decision, in the counter following on that situation, they scored their second. Football is a funny game and anything can happen, luck is a part of the game.

Twice in the CL final, won it once. Won the FA cup and a charity shield in three years and you call all this luck?
