Do Liverpool rely on Steven Gerrard too much, he seems to be main man every week for the club?

I think rely is the wrong word - Gerrard seems to be the only player at Anfield with perhaps the exception of Carragher who is able to show any form of consistency. Possibly this is down to Benitez and his rotation policy whereby only a couple of names seem to be automatic choices or could it be down to the good old British Passion and the pride of wearing the shirt

alonso has a bigger impact when he's in form than gerrard. too bad we have so many injuries

If a club are picking up more than their share of injuries then somethings wrong on the training ground regarding the fitness.

they didnt train as hard as they used to in pre-season. but thats not the reason. Torres wast 100 percent fit. Alonso was but was just unlucky, and we couldnt substitute mascherano because all the three subs are used.

Got to disagree with you! Gerrard outshines Alonso in most games that they both feature. As for the comment do Liverpool rely too much on Gerrard? Well he does play for us so why not!?!
