Filan goes to Donny

Doncaster Rovers have agreed a loan deal to take Wigan goalkeeper John Filan to Belle Vue.

Filan is to spend a month with the League One side and will complete his move in time to make his debut against Oldham Athletic on Friday night.

Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll made his move for the 36-year-old Australian international following injuries to his three senior keepers.

Filan has started almost 200 games for Wigan but has not figured this season.
