Doncaster In The Chamionship

I just like to congradulate Doncasters Rovers on promotion to the Championship first time they've been in the top two leauges in over fifty years.
Look forward to visiting your ground next season....

A great achievement considering they were non-league five seasons ago.

Was it a good game to watch, I've been up since 7am here to follow the game on text through my laptop.....It seemed to be all action at any rate and the web site said Doncaster were the better team over all and should have had a least a couple more goal.......Great achievment all the same....

It was - I have to say that Donny really went for it from the off and the goal was fully deserved. Leeds livened up after the goal but in truth, didn't have too many clear cut chances (I don't recall seeing much of Friedman). Sullivan confidently claimed and came for any crosses to nullify Leed's threat during the last 20 minutes - he was rock solid.

i cant believe they won, i will admit, pikeys were the better team, but cant believe they have gone up. i guess thas what spending a lot of money does for you. if you have 3 players on 10k a week, your going to do well.

they will do well next season, i know who there first signing is going to be, you will be a bit shocked, and he is going to be on 15k a week, how mad is that, 10 years ago we sent them down to non league.

lets hope they finish bottom anyway

If you look at Scunthorpe & Colchester then I don't think Donny will be spending much time in the Championship either TBH. And from their Chairman's comments post match there doesn't seem to be much ambition either ....

It'll be tough but if Derby have a lot of new faces that day maybe it's a good time to play them. Do you think Derby will go straight back up?
