The whole of Cardiff is a bit lively !

Depending on which team is emcamped at the "Angel Hotel" that is usually good for some crack and its right next to the stadium by Cardiff Rugby Ground

if youve got the railway side i strongly recomend the prince of wales pub as its cheap as chips there(its right by the bus station on the corner)also where i drink is across the road from there a place called lava lounge.

if you do go down for the weekend be very very carefull down there as the cardiff scum are always looking for a fight

We went down that end of town early sat evening....most pubs had donny fans in....including the POW....the trouble was that it was full of cardiff too!....the donny fans were singing 'red army'......then the rest of the pub stood up and sung 'men of harlech'.....it was then I told the wifey to sup up...and exit stage left!...red army wasnt a good song to sing since cardiff had been beat by the macams a few hrs earlier!.........the day of the match that end of town was blue an white so we couldnt get in any pubs.....the other end seemed to be shut!.....so soon as the gates opened we went in an supped in the ground.....the disappointing thing about the stadium is that you cant take beer to your seat......but you can when its rugby......and also the bars were shut for half time and the rest of the afternoon......all in all a good 2 nights, weather was brill for the match etc.....and a good journey home......and unless i go watch the hoorah henry's in the 6 nations, it might be the last time we go there.
