Davies departs from Derby

Derby manager Billy Davies has left the Premier League strugglers following talks with chairman Adam Pearson.
The club are two points adrift at the foot of the table following a 2-0 defeat by Chelsea on Saturday.

"We have decided mutually in the best interest of both parties that to go our separate ways is the correct decision at this time," said Pearson.

Derby have just one win so far this season, which came against Newcastle, and have shipped in 33 goals.

That is a shmae for a manager given no money to spend at all what does the board expect.....this is what's wrong with football...bet the Directors get a good dividend from the £30million payout at the end of the season

Once again a club thinks they are better than what they are! They should just enjoy their year in top flight and then drop down again and try get up again the next season.

Is this the same Derby that were looking at relegation last year until Billy took over?
The board have almost conceded the fact they will be relegated and won't try and put up a fight, sack the board not the manager.

This shows what's wrong with football today, what did Billy Davies have to do to keep his job ?. Derby will get a new manager, still go down, then probably sack him and look for someone like Billy Davies. They deserve what they get

When did you hear that Cov, was it voices in your head I can't see Derby wanting Wisey, Adam Pearson has said it's down to financial reasons that Davies has gone, which probably means there's a take over bid coming up at Pride Park.
