One in, one out

Darlington have completed the loan signing of Mark Albrighton from Boston, while David Rowson has moved in the opposite direction.

The two defenders will trade clubs until January, after Darlington boss Dave Penney and Boston manager Steve Evans decided the switch would be in the best interests of both clubs.

Albrighton, who joined Boston in May, previously played under Penney when he was in charge at Doncaster.

Rowson has made nine starts for The Quakers this season but has not played this month and will be looking for more regular football at Boston.

Penney, meanwhile, has insisted he is not overly concerned by Swiss striker Gaetano Giallanza's knee injury.

"I don't think it is anything to worry about. I just think it's a little niggle," he said.

"While we've got a few bodies to choose from in that position we might as well sort him out because if there ever comes a time when we've got injuries, then at least Tano will be fit again.

"At Lincoln we started with Alun Armstrong and Simon Johnson and we had Barry Conlon and Julian Joachim to bring on, who are not bad replacements.

"We've also got Martin Smith who can play upfront so we are looking OK in that position."
