Darlington have completed the signing of Millwall's Mark Phillips on loan until the end of the season.

The defender steps down to League Two after starting just eight games for The Lions so far this season.

Phillips will now aid The Quakers as they look to sneak into the play-offs during the last eight games of their campaign.

The 24-year-old's arrival boosts Darlington's defence just three days after the departure of David Duke by mutual consent.

Meanwhile, Craig James has left Darlington to join Conference promotion hopefuls York on a month's loan.
