Well it was a long and painful night at the Richo last night as Coventry managed to hold off a promotion chasing Cardiff City. Although despite the Coventry defence gifting three second chances to the Cardiff forward line managed a goaless draw.
Cardiff presented a unified team playing to the man accuratley and good running off the ball, Coventry on the other hand have developed the big boot technique where by the ball if hoofed out as far as possible and to anyone who wants it.
Leon Best for all his crowing about been given enough chances needs to learn the basics of the offside rule as he spent most of the night a yard offside, making life for the linesman very easy.
Andy Marshall must be the Coventry man of the match stopping several key shots and headers.
The game overall was scrappy in truth Cardiff showing the best form and play although to be fair to Coventry's players there were moments in the first half. One shot from Mifsud, turned around the post by the Cardiff keeper and Heath's free kick just wide of the other post.
On the night not a bad result for us with results around us going in our favour helping us maintain 19th place and gain a point on Leicester.....
I have a ticket for the WBA game on Saturday if we continue to play like this we won't be in the hat on Monday.....but keeping the faith
