We were crap last night at the Brittania Stadium, wonder goal absolute beauty no arguement about one, it was a peach......

Yes we should have had a penalty it was handball and the disallowed goal was offside.

Now Coventry have a good defence no doubt about that, we have no midfield and a forward line that could not kick their way past a wet paper tissue. The only way Coventry could get into the game was for Stoke to get a player sent off and then we only had one shot on target and that came from a midfielder Jay Tabb. If derby play a 4-2-4 on Saturday, they'll clean up none of the Coventry players can or will hold the ball, just a big HOOF up the pitch everytime. HOOF and hope seems to be our primary tactic toward forward play.

Stern John had one attempt on goal which he completely screwed up, other than that Adibola came on and dissappeared, Mckenzie broke free went for glory and missed the target completely from six feet. Our midfield and forward line are woefully poor, no imagination, no direction, loads of effort and running but nothing.

I've said before if all we can do is to clear the ball out of defence then one touch later give away again, we are going to lose games.

Do you think Adams is going to get sacked Briggcov, he's getting stick from the fans by all accounts

No I don't think so, we can't afford to start sacking managers, what we need is for the players work smarter. Like most teams in this league we're on limited resources, as I said earlier our midfield and forward cannot hold the ball. The defence is good but the big hoof out of defence always comes screaming back because no one can hold the ball further up the pitch.

We do try to run the ball up front but again seem to loose it easily; if the long ball out of defence reaches our forwards, they're big and will win most balls but they always to knock it down to an opposing defender who clears. There is just no subtle interplay between players that allows for the lay off or push through, everything fails at that last ball. It's not that we're bad but just not good enough, often enough. Another point of worry is the number of attempts made on goal, Colchester we were lucky two chances on goal two goals, Stoke last night one on target attempt no goals.

We are playing two and three up front and still cannot create scoring situations. If our forwards and midfield could start to create chances then our defence would not be under such pressure......

on a different note, do you prefer the new or old stadium?

The new one is excellent, I was very fond of Highfield Road but the Richo is far better. Clear views of the pitch from all angles, plenty of space and toilets that don't smell of a hundred years of urine.

Hows Adebola doing for you these days.We had him on loan a couple of seasons ago and he did a good job for us.We could do with him now as we are crying out for a big target man.

Hi Citygent, we have a shed load of big strikers not one of them can score your welcome to any of them at the moment, not one of them seems to have a clue where the goal is.........they are all very good at falling over though unfortunatly the referee does not think they're that good...........don't get me started i'll rant on for days....................
