Double interest in Coventry City star Leon Best

IPSWICH and Nottingham Forest appear ready to rekindle their interest in Coventry City striker Leon Best.

Town are reported to be preparing a bid in excess of £2 million for the 21-year-old Sky Blues forward who former City manager Iain Dowie signed from Southampton 12 months ago.

Best's home town club Forest are also believed to be keen on renewing their interest in the player they bid for unsuccessfully in the January transfer window.

However, any latest bids are expected to be turned down by Chris Coleman and chairman Ray Ranson who are unlikely to be interested in selling him.
