Football Fans Attendance??

What is classed as a well supported team? I ask because I come from Blackburn which has a population of 140,000. Half of that is Asian and they dont watch the football for whatever reason. So that leaves 70,000 people and we average about 20,000 a game yet this is called bad support. However a City like Newcastle with half a million people or Leeds may get up to 40,000 and this is considered great support. Now in terms of ratio of fans to population surely Blackburns attendance far outweighs any of the leagues clubs bar Manchester United (would probably fill 200,000 seats if they had a stadium that big)

good question. I think most stadiums would be filled if they were made bigger, and prices cheaper. Not everyone can afford to go. My fella supports shrewsbury and they class 4,000 as a good crowd.

I am really not sure. But I do know that Man Utd is the most supported team in England.

I read somewhere once that as a percentage of attendance compared to the size of the town they play in, Burnley (I think it was) has the highest attendance... It was certainly one of the North-Western teams...I'm sure someone can correct me on that...
