David James nephew in at City

Chester City have given former Liverpool youngster James Frayne, who is a striker, the chance to earn a contract at the Deva Stadium.

Frayne has been registered to play for City's reserves and will make his first appearance for the club in Wednesday evening's game against Blackpool.

The 18-year-old nephew of ex-Liverpool keeper David James was released by the Premiership club in the summer.

Chester have also expressed an interest in Crewe striker Luke Rodgers, 24.
