City try again for Ellison
Chester City have made a second bid for Tranmere Rovers winger Kevin Ellison.
The Blues saw an offer of £15,000 for Ellison rejected earlier this summer. Undeterred, Chester have now lodged a new and improved bid for the 28-year-old. Ellison spent the first half of the 2004/05 season with Chester and they are keen to bring him back. Tranmere have stated they will spend the next few days considering Chester's new bid.
