Rovers Offer Fans Chance To See Their New 'home'
Bristol Rovers are offering their fans the chance to have a look around the club's new temporary home at Whaddon Road this weekend.
The Pirates will be sharing Cheltenham Town's ground for the next two seasons with work scheduled to start on a major £36 million transformation of the Memorial Stadium in the summer.
All areas of the Robins' ground, which has a capacity of just over 7,000, will be open between 11am and 2pm on Saturday so Rovers fans planning to make the trip for next season's home games can examine their preferred viewing point.
All fans are welcome and representatives from Rovers will be on hand to answer questions.
Rovers' Supporters Club are organising coaches, which will leave the Memorial Stadium at 10am and will return at about 3pm.
Places are free, providing fans renew their Supporters Club membership, and can be booked on a first-come, first-served basis at the Memorial Stadium, the Supporters Club shop in Kingswood or by calling 0117 909 6648.
Rovers have sold around 500 season tickets so far for the new campaign.
