Big Phil Top Of The List

Quote:
Several outlets, including the Guardian and the Times, now see Portugal manager Luiz Felipe Scolari as the top candidate to take over at Stamford Bridge next season. Rijkaard and Mark Hughes apparently join him on a three-man shortlist. If Scolari is indeed the man, he likely won’t sign until after Euro 2008. Does this throw possible transfers moves under the bus? Just a question.
I would be happy with any of the 3 mentioned to become the next Chelsea manager but waiting until after Euro 2008 could be a problem.

I just hope we dont get Mancini or Sven

Reports on BBC Sport say it's Mancini & Rijkaard to be interviewed.

Im not really interested in what the media say on this topic anymore, they obviously have no clue. I get the feeling its gonna be Scolari though, if it was gonna be Rijkaard or Mancini then surely it would of been done ages ago.

Mark Hughes was the one, but he's now gone down the road

Mark Hughes has all the makings of a top class manager but i'm not sure that Abramovich can wait for success. He seems to want the full package of a manager who's been successful in europe already.
