Cech has surgery
Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech underwent surgery on Sunday following a training ground accident that left him with lacerations to his lip and chin, the club have confirmed.
PetrCech_670446.jpg In a statement on their official website the Stamford Bridge club added: "Petr will begin his rehabilitation immediately and we hope to have him back playing as soon as possible." Cech has been out of action since the beginning of March with an ankle injury suffered in training.
